The Foster Care Select Team
The importance of foster parents to the emotional and behavior health development of the children in their care cannot be overstated. In addition to providing for the basic needs of the children in their care, foster parents are an important part of the interdisciplinary team. This team includes:
- Case Coordinators
- Therapists
- Psychologists
- Child and adolescent psychiatrists
- Department of Child’s Services staff
- School personnel
- Other community service providers
